What’s in a Tequila Sour?
- 2 oz tequila
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup (see recipe below)
- Orange slice for garnish
How to Make a Tequila Sour
- Fill an aluminum shaker with ice.
- Add all ingredients except for the garnish
- Shake until well mixed and chilled.
- Strain into an ice-filled glass. Add garnish.
How to Make Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 part water
- 2 parts sugar
Directions
- Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium low heat.
- Cook and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat and cool before using.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
One Step No-Brainer Tequila Sour
- 1 ½ oz tequila
- 2-3 oz sour mix
1800® Tequila California Sour
- 2 oz Añejo tequila
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1 oz lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Top off with soda
