What’s in a Tequila Sour?

  • 2 oz tequila
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup (see recipe below)
  • Orange slice for garnish

How to Make a Tequila Sour

  • Fill an aluminum shaker with ice.
  • Add all ingredients except for the garnish
  • Shake until well mixed and chilled.
  • Strain into an ice-filled glass. Add garnish.

How to Make Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 part water
  • 2 parts sugar

Directions

  • Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium low heat.
  • Cook and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and cool before using.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

One Step No-Brainer Tequila Sour

  • 1 ½ oz tequila
  • 2-3 oz sour mix

1800® Tequila California Sour

  • 2 oz Añejo tequila
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Top off with soda
